高等植物褪黑素的合成和代谢研究进展

摘 要:

褪黑素是生物进化过程中一种保守的小分子物质, 不仅在动物和人体中具有重要的作用, 在植物中也具有广泛的生理功能。阐明植物褪黑素的合成代谢途径有助于理解褪黑素的动态积累和作用机理。在植物细胞中色氨酸经过TDC、T5H、SNAT、ASMT四种酶催化形成褪黑素, 在M2H作用下褪黑素分解产生2-羟基褪黑素, 合成和分解之间的平衡决定了植物组织中褪黑素的含量。本文简要介绍了植物褪黑素的发现, 重点综述了植物褪黑素的合成和代谢途径以及在植物中的积累。

Research progress of melatonin biosynthesis and metabolism in higher plants

Abstract:

Melatonin is a conservative small molecule in the process of biological evolution which not only plays an important role in animals and human body, but also has extensive physiological function in plants. Tryptophan turns into melatonin with the catalytic action of four synthetizes: TDC, T5H, SNAT and ASMT. Melatonin can have resolved into 2-hydroxymelatonin by M2H in plant cell. The content of melatonin in plants is impacted by internal genetic characteristics and external environment factors. This paper presents the research progress of melatonin synthesis and metabolic pathways, and accumulation in plants.
